Okay folks... Bele Chere has come and gone, and we are still here!!! We had a great time here at Tallgary's during the festival. A lot of new names and faces and accents as we welcomed visitors from all over to beautiful downtown Asheville. We managed to out-rock the festival, though, with "Yeller Dog" opening Friday and Saturday, local favorites "Mudd Cutt" on Friday night and regional favorites "Gas House Mouse" layin' it down on Saturday night. A
very good time was had by all.
To really liven up the summer, Tallgary's is now the home of the "1-2-3 Tuesday". We're offering $1 drafts, $2 appetizers and $3 well drinks, along with some craziness we like to call "Garyoke". That's right, our buddy Jason will be hosting the wildest karoke night downtown Asheville has to offer every Tuesday. You've got to check out the food, the music and the whole scene!!

We're doing more live music than ever. We've added an Open Mic & Open Jam every Wednesday starting at 7:00. It's a very friendly and non-judgemental atmosphere, so whether you're just starting to play or an old pro, come on down and check it out. We also have free pool every Wednesday, so you can just shoot some stick and listen if that's more your style. We start out with acoustic music and move to electric Blues after 9.
Tallgary's is still serving the best brunch downtown and at the best price, too. We also have champagne specials and our fabulous Bloody Mary Bar with the brunch menu
every Saturday and Sunday!!! Come on down and see what people are talking about on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Sunday brunch is accompanied by a variety of great acoustic artists from 2-5 pm... check the music schedule on the "Events" page to see who's up this week.
We are continuing to add some really interesting and unexpected items to the rest of the menu, so if you think you'll just see the regular old "pub grub", you're in for a big surprise. We are offering half price bottles of wine every Thursday all day, and half price appetizers from 5-8. We will also begin hosting some of the best local talent on Thursday evenings beginning in mid June to go along with the wine and appetizer specials. Our new lunch menu is available until 3 every weekday, and it's loaded with specials.
