We have closed off the pool room and the back bar so that we can better concentrate on what we do best..... great food, good times and lots of music.
If you love BRUNCH, then Tallgary's is the place to be any Saturday or Sunday. That's right, we do the full brunch menu BOTH days, complete with A-ville's best Bloody Mary Bar and champagne specials. You certainly can spend a lot more money downtown for brunch, but why should you? Our Brunch menu is a lot of fun and a LOT more affordable than our neighbors, so skip the long lines and join us for downtown's freshest and most interesting Brunch all weekend long!!! We'll be showing all the College and NFL games as well, so come on down and eat, drink... ENJOY!!!!
Tallgary's is now the home of the "1-2-3 Tuesday". We're offering $1 drafts, $2 appetizers and $3 well drinks, along with some craziness we like to call "Garyoke". That's right, our buddy Jason will be hosting the wildest karoke night downtown Asheville has to offer every Tuesday. You've got to check out the food, the music and the whole scene!!
Wednesdays bring the Open Mic/Jam, starting at 7pm. It a great chance to get up onstage and do your thing in a very friendly and non-judgemental atmosphere. We do whatever... acoustic, Blues, folk, Indie. Bring your instrument and join in.
Tallgary's is now the downtown home of "Thirsty Thursdays", with 1/2 price martinis, 1/2 price bottles of wine and even 1/2 price app specials. Our favorite DJ, Jason, will be holding an "All Request Night" every Thursday as well, so come on down and dance a bit, sip a bit and have something VERY interesting to eat.
Friday and Saturdays still have the best live music downtown, with local favorites like Unit 50, Edge Band, Peggy Ratusz & Daddy Long Legs, Westsound and others playing regulalrly. Check the "Events" page for details.
If you're in to the NFL or college football, Tallgary's is where you want to be... especially if you like a great deal on food and drink while you yell at the TV!!! Our "Game Day" menu includes all you can eat wings, potato skins, calalmari, nachos, fried beer battered 'shrooms and more, along with our usual line up of burgers, wraps, salads and downtown's "best appetizers"... and since Tallgary( his own self) is in to the Redskins in a major way, you need to help him sing "Hail To The Redskins" at every 'Skins TD!!!
Since we are downtown's favorite "eating & drinking establishment, we are always updating our menus. If you think we offer the usual "pub grub" you're in for a big surprise. From our Thai and Vietnamese apps to our salads and soups to our dinner specials we are definitely "something different" when it comes to casual dining. Our "Dinner Special" is Asheville's best deal by far.... your choice of any 2 of our mouth watering entrees, with sides and your choice of beverages to include a bottle of wine, pitcher of beer or soft drinks and juices... all for $29!!! Choose from Rib Eye Steak, Grilled Salmon, Hawaiian Luau Pork or our own Chef's Choice Pasta Selection..... any 2, sides and drinks for $29.. no, really!!!
