We are interested in most genres with the exception of Metal.... not that there's anything wrong with that. If you don't hear back, you were too expensive or the sound wasn't what we are looking for, otherwise, I do try to respond to every inquiry. Thanks again for your interest!!
Second, if you think sitting around and playing music in a friendly, non judgemental atmosphere sounds like fun, join us every Wednesday evening from 7pm for our Open Mic/Jam. Groups are welcome to the mic to do their thing, but everyone is encouraged to sit in with other folks when they can. We have had some really great performers stop by and join the jam, so why haven't YOU????
TallGary's is seeking musicians who would like to take part in forming a house band for the venue. We already have a good core of guys and gals, but we could always fit in a few more. Vocalists, harp players and keyboard players are needed to fill our sound out. Prefer someone who has a few miles on them and will leave their ego at the door. This is intended to be a fun thing to do. It will get you a few free beers and maybe some small bucks when we can. If you're interested, just drop me an e mail at
