Lookin' for some GREAT "Garyoke" action downtown every Tuesday night?? TallGary's has it!! We'll also be doing $3 Top Shelf vodkas, like Absolute Mandarin, Stoly Vanilla and the wierdly named Three Olives "Dude" and lots more. We'll be servin' up Jager shots for $3 too, just in case you need a shot before you go on stage! The show is hosted by Shawn Patton and the good folks at Get Vocal Entertainment. They have a great stable of DJ entertainment as any Asheville fan of karaoke knows. We'll kick it off at 9 sharp, so get on down and grab a seat!!
Wednesday nights are for Asheville's very best Open Mic. This mid-week event is becoming an Asheville institution with a lot of great local talent as well as visitors from near and far... we've had musicians from Russia, England, France, Spain, New York and even Hendersonville!! It's a great chance to get up on stage and do your thing in a friendly, non-judgemental atmosphere. We start at 7 sharp, so get down early and sign up... we feature all of our local Highland drafts for $3 as well as $3 margaritas and much more!!
Thursdays are for our Asheville Music Showcase. This is an invitation only event and is meant to give new bands a chance to try their material on stage for a full one hour set. If you would like to be considered for a slot, come on down for an Open Mic any Wednesday and let us hear you. The Showcase has also been a launching pad for several young bands new to our area like The River Rats and Same Old Sound. C'mon down and see what the buzz is about. The music is very cool, and we do the $3 Top Shelf vodkas and more every Thursday as well.
Fiesta Fridays are not to be missed... our margaritas, made with only fresh squeezed juice, are only $3, all of our Mexican bottles are only $2 and a selection of our Top Shelf tequillas are only $5. C'mon down and party with your friends at TallGary's Cantina!!
